I sold paper at this company for twelve years. My job was to speak to clients on the phone about quantities and types of copier paper. Even if I didn’t love every minute of it, everything I have I owe to this job. This stupid, wonderful, boring, amazing job

So i keep seeing that the newbies are still to blame for glee’s bad ratings. Well here are the views for each episode from season 1 to season 5. As you can see Glee sort of had some declines during season 2 compared to season 1. Season 3 ratings dropped more compared to season 2. As you can see glee barely dropped in season 4. It actually was a decline as seasons continue so it was expected for that to happen. The lowest episode of season 4 was Dynamic Duets but that doesn’t count since that was Thanksgiving. The 2nd lowest rating was Valentines day which is when originals came back also very Klaine/Finchel heavy. The 3 lowest rating was Stevie Wonder episode…Which low and behold featured Mercedes/Klaine + Burt/Kartie with little bit of Jake and very little Marley. Season 5 the lowest episode on that featured the Lima side was “City Of Angels” which feature little bit of newbies but was mostly about Finn/Nationals. Lowest episode of the season was the all NY finale! Which featured the return of Brittany but no Santana. So for you to blame the newbies for glee’s failure. Sweetie you need to check again.. Glee has been failing since season 3 (Technically 2). This is the cause of bad writing/continuity/repetitive storylines. It’s not the cause of new characters. Maybe to you people in the fandom they are what caused glee to fail but for the people (majority) who aren’t in the fandom..THEY WEREN’T THE CAUSE :)
